Mel and Steve are yet another reminder why I do this, a fun loving couple, an awesome bridal party with an incredible bond and a family that shows so much love and togetherness. They truly have their ducks in a row (you’ll see what I mean by that in the photos below)! I am lucky to be let into these people’s live documenting their legacy, it is truly an honor. Today I bring you a sneak peek of their fun celebration at a venue I highly recommend, this wedding really had it all.
Wedding season is in full swing now. March kicks off with Katherine and Jervis’ wedding that started off at the Polish Marion Shrine, Aberfeldie. I must commend the highly spirited bridal party and couple dealing with the high 30’s temperature during an epic photo session at my now favourite photoshoot location, Melbourne University. Everyone had a ball including me, the chemistry between these two is the type you wish you could bottle and that still was even more evident at the reception at the uber cool Brunswick Mess Hall. Here is a small taster of such a fantastic day.
Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding celebration of Briana and Sian at the Darebin Parklands on a gorgeous summer’s day. Even though they had their official wedding previously, it was time for a round two so they could share the experience with Sian’s parents who came all the way from the UK, so they could see the union of their love first hand. What’s better than one wedding? Two weddings right! Plus their uber cute doggo Ned could sit in on the nuptials and of course steal some attention. The celebrations kicked on at the 3 Raven’s brewery in Thornbury for beer, fun times and wicked tunes.
A beautiful story of two high school sweethearts getting married is a beautiful thing, just like these two Jane and Miles. I have actually known Jane for a couple of years now, working with her on a couple of modelling projects which was bags of fun, and now I have had the privilege to photograph their wedding at one of my now favourite wedding venues. Gorgeous chapel, beautiful lush greenery, a cool rustic vibe and the best bit; a donkey to pat! The donkey actually took a great liking to Miles, must be his calm nature.
It was great to see such a close group of family and friends, everyone got involved to make their day so special. And I love your work bridal party, you guys were the best! Hope you all enjoy the sneak peek, be sure to follow my Facebook and Instagram for updates.
Perfect weather all week for the start of Spring, then heavy rain forecast for your wedding day, that’s just Melbourne at it’s best isn’t it? But even so, no amount of rain can wash away the fun and the love these two have for each other. Spirits were high, with a really intimate gathering on a Tuesday to celebrate the anniversary of their first date (how cute!). With a beautiful speech from Saige’s eldest daughter that brought on tears from everyone, despite the clouds there was sunshine in everyone’s hearts.
Enjoy the sneak peek, more to come after the delivery of their photos. Enjoy South Africa guys!
In late December i was able to return to one of my favourite venues, Swallowfield Vineyards in Gembrook for Naomi and Cameron's beautiful summer wedding. Before the tear jerking ceremony under the majestic oak tree, we got to explore the luscious grounds with the tons of fun bridal party. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek, more to come soon.

I always ask my couples before the wedding day, 'what is going to be the most important aspect of your wedding day?' and pretty much 99% of the time they answer 'the coming together of family and friends for a celebration.' In Kate and Steve's case, this was met in every true sense of those words. No distracting elements and no military precision timeline, just an intimate gathering, closeness, dancing and drinking while the sun went down. I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I did taking them.

In some cultures, rain on your wedding day symbolizes fertility, abundance, unity, cleansing and a sign of a happy, long lasting marriage. When you see the beautiful connection between Maggie and David, and judging by the amount of rain that fell on their wedding day, I'm sure all of those will come true. It truly was a fun day, in the end there were smiles everywhere, fun Polish traditions and a great celebration of love and family.
It is always a pleasure to visit Farm Vigano, I always get well fed there, thanks to Suzie and the team for their hard work. When I curate a blog post for a wedding, I normally select 90-100 photographs, but in the case of Beatriz and Justin's Port Melbourne wedding I could barely keep it under 150! That was because there was something happening all the time. So much fun, love, tears and excitement. Especially when it came to the reception, the DJ dropped jam after jam making the crowd go wild all the way to the end at the sensational venue, The Pier.
Enjoy the journey between these two gorgeous souls, and if you know anyone that has just become engaged, let them know what I can do for them.
Justin and I were great buddies in high school, so we have known each other for over 20 years. His incredible nature and fun loving attitude to life has attracted a beautiful woman equally full of life and love. I knew from the outset, these two would get married. I even jokingly said to them probably a good year or two ago that I'll be their photographer at their wedding. I'm glad I was in the end, because, the ceremony of bringing family together for the celebration of marriage was shown in its truest form, with displays of incredible mateship and strong bonds within their families. And the speeches, my god, Justin's son Jackson brought the house down leaving not one dry eye in the place. Please enjoy this little snippet of their day, sharing this post to your friends and family will grant you a lifetime of riches :)
