Nate & Damien's Quirindi Stables Wedding

An Epic Adventure Amongst Horses

A DIY wedding out in western country Victoria

Wedding two out of three of the week was one of epic proportions, with the best weather I have seen in literally months, a breathtaking location in the country 16 km west of Daylesford, at a little venue called Quirindi Stables, to celebrate the epic love of Nate and Damien.

These two handsome gentleman booked me during a time you couldn’t go meet anyone in person, or visit any venues to check them out or go taste the caterer’s food. I think it was around lockdown number 84 if I remember correctly, just weeks out from their chosen date, they learnt they could have the wedding of their dreams. I could tell that they were in their element with the fabulous company they had there, jamming out on the dance floor and being amongst the horses for our shoot session (with probably the most epic light I have had all year). They both knew already that Quirindi Stables was for them, being local to it and having a long standing connection with the owner.

They pieced the wedding together from friends and family in the know including the stunning cake.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them, their family and friends were so welcoming and warm to Nyssa and I, which made the whole experience awesome to be in the company of these two. Plus they had their adorables fur babies there…..oh my heart!

Unfortunately I don’t have a list of suppliers, they were mostly locally sourced mini businesses which only added to connected nature of the day.
