Casey & Jon’s Bulong Estate Wedding
You may remember Casey and Jon from such an epic engagement session with a classic Mercedes, which you can view here. Now it was time to capture the incredibly relaxed wedding out past Yarra Junction.
Tell me about the beginning!
We met at university (physio students, Jon the year below me), but only knew each other socially and didn't start dating until after I graduated. First time meeting each other was at the annual uni physio ball a couple years prior- clinked pot glasses and went our separate ways.
A couple years later we got back in touch (who slid into who's dm's is a debate) and Jon came over to my house on his way through to Gippsland (completing a uni placement there) under the guise of meeting my dog (Pippin). He ended up stopping by every Sunday night for the entire placement.
When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged at my parents property in Bendigo (we were staying the week whilst they were away holidaying). Same location where we had said I love you for the first time.
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day? Feel free to elaborate about your choices and venue.
Cocktail, winery vibe. Lawn games. Relaxed, cocktail menu, so that people can mingle and not be stuck sitting next to someone they don't know all night.
No specific theme, but lots of pinks, greens, gold.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Getting married to each other!
Excited about getting ready together- few extra moments to ourselves.
