Kim & Caleb’s Log Cabin Ranch Wedding

"Kimmie's & Caleb's DIY Log Cabin Ranch Wedding: A Story of Determination, Love & Fun"

What can I say about my little Kimmie and her (now husband) Caleb. I met Kim when her mum tagged her in a post of mine looking for help on a shoot I was doing in Bayswater as a shy 16 year old. I could tell back then she had a spark and determination to help me out on the shoot which led to a 6 year stint being my number one wedding assistant. She was always keen to work because she just loved weddings, and despite her tiny size, she could lift my roller case which was nearly as heavy as her and wear a shoulder bag loaded with lenses all day. She was the shining light to my level personality as she kept the energy up with guests and wedding parties, always making sure everyone was looked after, comfortable and smiling. I couldn’t resist having a photo with her loaded up with gear though.

Her wedding day was kind of the great send off for me; for her to move on to greater things as she embarks on a career as a wedding coordinator at a prestigious venue and to start her new life with her full of life husband Caleb. These two are just perfect for each other, it sounds so cliche, but when you get to know them, you can see it. They both put together a gorgeous DIY wedding, with beautiful styling she has envisioned for years as she worked alongside me. The reception kept everyone on their toes with games all night involving the crowd like Speech Bingo, the classic Shoe Game, and a new German game ‘How well you know your guests.’
Congratulations Kim and Caleb, it was a blast!
