Darlene & Ryan’s Lawson Lodge Wedding
I love a little change of scenery, this time a road trip up to Macedon for Darlene and Ryan’s Lunar New Year themed wedding was in order. I was excited to learn they had a Lion Dance company come and entertain the guests to warm them up for the reception, followed by heart warming speeches and endless food that Darlene and a close friend from America prepared themselves!

Tell me about the beginning!
Tinder, First date was a rooftop bar The Beverly in South Yarra. I'm bad at this.
We do a lot of walks have a lot of similar hobbies. Ryan competed in inline skating as a teenager and played roller hockey. I was a figure skater and do inline skating. He's an arborist but doesn't work on the tools anymore. I was a chef and in hospitality for nearly 20 years so I will be catering my own wedding. Was also a freelance photographer as I have too many hobbies. Ryan dabbled in photography as well and originally majored in films and worked on film sets. We both ride motorbikes. We both travel. For Ryan’s work we go all over country victoria and he loves history so we always end up at silly roadside attractions on the many trips we have.
