Melissa & Andrew’s Princes Pier Elopement

Melissa and Andrew had a truly unique wedding experience, with not one, but two ceremonies. Andrew hails from Texas, and so the couple decided to have a traditional, "boot scootin'" wedding with his family and friends there. But Melissa also wanted to give her family and friends back in Melbourne the opportunity to celebrate with them as well.

For the Melbourne celebration, they chose the stunning Princes Pier for their intimate photo shoot session. The location offered a wealth of opportunities for creative use of leading lines in the photos, and the shade provided by the midday sun was a welcome bonus.

The ceremony itself was a simple and heartfelt exchange of vows, performed in front of a small group of their closest loved ones. And as a surprise to everyone in attendance, Melissa and Andrew announced Melissa's pregnancy after the ceremony.

The reception was a casual and relaxed affair held at a local pub down the road. It just goes to show that investing in good photography is always worth it, even for small, informal events. The memories captured will be priceless, and something that Melissa and Andrew will treasure for the rest of their lives. It was a truly special and unique experience for the couple, and for everyone who was lucky enough to be a part of it.
