Dana & Jacob’s Treasury Wedding
I am back to the Vic Marriage Registry in the Old Treasury Building, this time for cat lovers Dana and Jacob’s autumn union on a sunny April day. They had celebrant Mark of the Registry conduct the ceremony with the professionalism he normally delivers.
The family and couple took part in the superstition of ‘burying the sausage’ in the park across from their home, and it seemed to work: the weather for their guests gathering and the photos was ideal. The wind died down for our time together, and it began raining the minute the session finished.
Goes to show: DIY flowers, nice outfits and a buried sausage are all you need for a flawless city elopement. This time we explored more of the Fitzroy Gardens rather than do the CBD, right at the cusp of the autumn leaf colour changes.
