Georgie & Matt’s Rupert on Rupert Wedding
I love photographing a family member’s wedding of a previous couple, for the reason it is like hanging with old friends and getting together again for an epic party. Having done that, they could relax and trust that I will bring a true reflection of who they are.
These two are perfectly suited to each other, with beautiful natures and an endless energy that bounces off each other. A big shout out to the staff at Rupert on Rupert, they were very attentive and super nice to deal with and provided the perfect environment for a chill wedding that unravelled to a wild party.
Tell me about the beginning!
We met in a pub in London
When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged in a little cottage in Cornwall, England. We were having cheese and wine after a day in a cute coastal town when Matt got out the ring and got down on one knee. We decided to keep it a secret for a few days so that we could celebrate properly together.
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day? Feel free to elaborate about your choices and venue.
We just wanted a big party with not too many traditional wedding formalties.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Our first look when we get to spend some time just the two of us (with Marcel!)
