Joyce & Desmond’s Treasury Wedding

Joyce and Desmond booked me only a month or so before their wedding day, which is all good to do, you will just get all my email workflows in very quick succession! With every May wedding, the weather can go either way, with a string of sunny days in the lead up, we had some light rain to contend with on the day. It damped their spirits, they were there for the most important thing and that was family and their union together. The ceremony took place at the Vic Marriage Registry in Spring Street with 35 guests in the Margaret Craig Room.

We headed up to the always incredible Carlton Gardens for a photo with the majestic fountain before they headed to Gaylord at the Grand Hotel for the reception (kind of wished I was staying for that, the decor is sublime and the food looks incredible).

Tell me about the beginning!

We met at our workplace in Malaysia. Desmond was Joyce’s shift lead and it just started with small talk

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeing my partner in the eyes during the ceremony knowing that we are here for each other today, tomorrow and forever
