Tell me about the beginning!

Our love story - In 2019 Stephen and Louise both swiped right on each other and had their first date at a Thai restaurant in Yarraville. They talked until the restaurant was about to close and moved to have a coffee. Sparks flew and it wasn’t long before they both fell madly in love and moved in together.

Stephen fell in love with Louise’s strong and vibrant personality and her compassion.

“I love that Louise always values family first. I love that she is courageous in sharing her opinions and is never afraid to speak up,” said Stephen.

Louise fell in love with Stephen’s kind and calming nature and shared values.

“He is such a caring person and always empowers me to be the best person I can be. He has been the best partner to me and his love has been the sunshine in my life since we met,” Louise said.

Together they love to share their different opinions from politics, films, art and life and are both family oriented. They love their differences and feel they have both found the ying to their yang.

In 2021 both their long life dreams came true when Harry was born, creating their beautiful family and strengthening their bond.

After Louise found her dream job in Hobart in 2024, the pair moved to Tasmania to start a new chapter together.

Louise & Stephen are delighted to get married in Melbourne with friends and family where the love story began.

When and where did you get engaged?

At home Stephen surprised me one morning with rose petals, candles, flowers and a hand written card. He was planning on doing it the night before but I had come back from a huge work trip and mood wasn't right!

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day? Feel free to elaborate about your choices and venue.

Park Hyatt venue is beautiful hotel but sentimental to us as we have stayed there throughout our relationship and my parents got married in the Church across the road. Style for the wedding is relaxed glamour!

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeking all our friends and family from across the country come together and marrying the love of my love!
