Sarah & Peter’s Melbourne Treasury Wedding
Congratulations to Sarah & Peter who joined hands in marriage at the Vic Marriage Registry at the Old Treasury Building in the mild Spring month of October. They first started with an intimate ceremony in the Thomas Hyde Room joined by just their siblings and children, then on to an hour of power of photo locations that stretched right across the east end of the city. Fitzroy Gardens Conservatory via the Commonwealth Offices, Parliament House to their reception at Pepe’s Italian on Exhibition Street via China Town.
Tell me about the beginning!
We met online on bumble- 7 years to the day we are getting married
Both of us had previous marriages and were new to the new "online dating" world and happened to click almost immediately
When and where did you get engaged?
At Alba Hot Springs- Peter planned a surprise day out with private lunch and spa
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day? Feel free to elaborate about your choices and venue.
No real theme, just go with the flow, to make it about us and our kids- enjoying the moment together as a "new" family unit
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Peter- the words of commitment and securing those words with the symbolic exchanging of rings + celebrating afterwards with our kids
Sarah- seeing Peters smile, officially being able to call him my husband
