Yiqin & Magnus’ Old Treasury Wedding Elopement

What a way to kick off spring in Melbourne with a sun filled Elopement between Yiqin & Magnus (how great are those names) in the heart of the city, Fitzroy Gardens. A short stroll via Treasury Place by the Commonwealth Offices and Department of Education, we were greeted by friends for an intimate ceremony at the Vic Marriage Registry inside the Old Treasury Building (Thomas Hyde Room).

Before we knew it, they had exchanged their rings and signed the papers before heading off to the classic steps of Melbourne Parliament to cap off their photo session. The reception kicked off at No35 on the 35th floor of the Sofitel only a block or two away for them to celebrate with a cheers. Next month Yiqin and Magnus jet off to China to have the main celebration with Yiqin’s side of the family, which I am sure will be epic.

If you are looking for a photographer that knows the Treasury, the surrounding buildings and gardens really, really, really well, get in contact for a chat.
